Stop to Take a Selfie II

Oliver Park, 51, ignored warnings from wardens and warning signs because he had a vision of a cool selfie. The German tourist jumped up into the air to get pictures of himself ...at the edge of a cliff at the ancient Incan citadel Machu Picchu in the Peruvian Andes. “He was at the edge with his back to the abyss, taking a photo of himself,” said Guillermo Mestas, who witnessed the incident. Park’s body was recovered 130 feet below. The day before, a South Korean tourist trying to get a selfie at the Gocta waterfall in the Amazonas region of Peru fell more than 1,600 feet.
