Shawn Archbold, 27, was arrested after allegedly negotiating to pay a prostitute in Melbourne, Fla., $40 for certain acts. According to police reports, Archbold went to an ATM to withdraw the cash, but was called back to work before he could make the payment, and was taken into custody when he arrived there. The “prostitute” in question was an undercover police officer, and Archbold had been under investigation for similar actions for about four months. Archbold was also a Melbourne police officer, who was on duty — and in uniform — at the time of the incident and arrest.
