Sunbathing is Hazardous to Your Health
Samantha Schermanhorn and Kaylie George, both 13, were lying outside to get a tan in Economy, Pa., when Schermanhorn’s cousin drove up. Doctors treated both girls and declared them in fair condition. “I think maybe she’s learned her lesson,” said Sylvia Schermerhorn Vogt, Samantha’s grandmother. “She’s not a dumb kid. She’s a smart girl.” (RC/WTAE Pittsburgh) ...Sorry, but “smart” and falling asleep on the road just don’t go together.Original Publication Date: 27 May 2012
