Take it All Off

When she was arrested for shoplifting $85 worth of lingerie, which she planned to use at her job as a stripper, Ashley Fleischmann, 24, of Orlando, Fla., admitted she hoped that having her young children with her would help protect her from arrest. It didn’t work. She had just regained custody the week before; the kids had been in foster care. But with that admission, she was also charged with child cruelty, since that law makes it a crime to commit “An intentional act that could reasonably be expected to result in physical or mental injury to a child.” Deputies noted that as proof of this, her children were crying when they arrested her, and were further traumatized when they were turned over to the Department of Children and Families for foster care. (RC/WKMG Orlando) ...Yeah, but to be fair, all that happened after she got caught.
