Talking Smack

The event inside Arnellia’s Bar in St. Paul, Minn., may not count as violence; the incident police say happened outside does. The inside event was “pure adult fun,” said promoter KeshaRae. Women were invited to smack each others’ faces in an organized, voluntary competition. After the “fun,” one participant was on her way to her car when she encountered her opponent — with six or seven other people. The ambush sent her to the hospital with bruises and scratches, though some of the bruises, she said, were from the competition. (AC/St. Paul Pioneer Press) ...Maybe next time try karaoke?
