Tanks for Driving Carefully
“I’m a bit late,” Ulrich Tilsner told his granddaughter, Stephanie Ney. “I have a tank in the garden.” The armored vehicle came from a “military driving school” at the British Army’s nearby Paderborn, Germany, Garrison. At Tilsner’s home, Ney found “a tank in the middle of the hedge and soldiers everywhere.” A shrub and a fence were damaged, but the vehicle stopped just short of the house. The army said “something came loose” in the tank and caused the incident. (AC/BBC) ...If something comes loose, tighten something.Original Publication Date: 22 February 2015
