Fortunately, Marilyn Monroe was not trying to go to class in South Ogden, Utah — but that didn’t help a middle schooler with a photo of her on her sweatshirt. “If Marilyn Monroe on the shirt isn’t in South’s dress code, then the shirt isn’t in South’s dress code,” the vice principal told Katie Fabert, whose daughter was ordered to change into a shirt South Ogden Junior High School provided. The next day, after Fabert went to the school to raise the issue, the principal said the shirt didn’t violate the dress code after all.
