The Circus of Life is Missing a Clown
After a bank robbery in Merced, Calif., police got a pretty good lead on the robber, who escaped with $2,748: he had distinctive tattoos on his face, neck, and elsewhere. Armed with the description, a police officer quickly spotted the suspect, who was stuffing wads of bills into his pants. After bringing the suspect to the police station, the officer was walking him upstairs for questioning when money started falling out of the man’s pants. Eventually, all $2,748 ended up on the floor, and Shawn Lee Canfield, 25, allegedly confessed to the crime.
