The Feed Your Head Office

Jack Turley and Keith Phipps have been on administrative leave from their jobs in West Virginia since being arrested on charges related to methamphetamine manufacturing. Subsequent testing found meth residues in Phipps’s office — whereupon the Boone County Career and Technical Center, which serves students from three high schools, was closed for decontamination. Phipps is the principal; Turley’s a teacher. Both have been placed on administrative leave. The building was due to open for the new school year, but classes will be held in regular high school buildings until the facility tests clean, even though an expert reported “that the levels should not cause any ongoing negative effects on the health of students, staff or visitors who may have attended the career center prior to remediation.” Cleanup costs were about $169,000, plus the cost of replacing furniture and “other meth-contaminated materials.” (AC/Charleston Daily Mail) ...All that for traces of residue?
