Trick or Treat

Greg Castillo’s family celebrated Halloween like many families do: by decorating their Albuquerque, N.M., home. But someone came to their house, broke lights, and stole an inflatable train. Two days later, an extension cord was returned with an attached note: “I destroyed your wicked decorations. Turn from all sin or you will perish.” Castillo filed a police report. “It seems like the guy’s hypocritical because he talks about repenting,” he said. “Yet he goes out and steals.” Castillo plans to add to his Halloween display next year. “We’re not going to let anyone deter us from celebrating Halloween.” (MS/KOB Albuquerque) ...A clear case of the cat calling the cauldron black.
