Try Our Hay-Stuffed Mattresses
Lindsey Partridge, 31, of Pontypool, Ont., Canada, was on her way to an event at Lexington, Ky.’s, Kentucky Horse Park. “The hotel is before you get to the horse park,” Partridge said, so “we figured we may as well stop and unload our luggage.” When she spotted a guest with a dog in the lobby, the amused Partridge told the clerk she didn’t know they allowed pets, because she has some horses outside. “The receptionist said, ‘Oh, I don’t care. Sure, bring them in’,” Partridge says. So she brought in one of her horses and took it to her room, mainly to get photos to post on Facebook to show, she says, “that horses really can be quiet, calm and nice.” Of course, the pictures went viral. When a reporter asked the Super 8 hotel to confirm the story, it admitted the incident was true, claimed they had “no knowledge of it being in the room,” and “clarified” their pet policy. “We are pet-friendly,” they say, but only for animals “25 pounds and under.” (RC/ABC) ...Which shall be known as the “Just say neigh” policy.Original Publication Date: 12 November 2017
