And There’s a Flag on the Play

A traffic camera at an intersection in Bellevue, Wash., recorded a pedestrian who apparently tired of waiting to cross at a busy intersection. Rather than wait for the light to cross, he saw a gap in the traffic, got ready by getting into a “three-point stance” like a football player, then sprinted into traffic — and slammed face-first into the side of a Tesla SUV going about 35 MPH. The collision left a dent in the vehicle, and broke its side mirror. The pedestrian was of course knocked down, but got up and ran off. The white male juvenile, wearing a hoodie and a backpack and carrying a skateboard, is wanted on criminal charges: the collision caused “significant damage” to the vehicle, and the incident is considered a literal hit-and-run. Police are asking for help to identify the boy. (RC/Bellevue Reporter) ...Easy: just get a casting of his face that he left in the side of the Tesla.
