Two Bit Thief

After a leasing agent for an apartment complex in Clay, N.Y., lost her job, her employer noticed something strange: the income from the building’s coin-op laundry dramatically increased. The state police were called in to investigate, and determined Russell, 37, had stolen at least 56,000 quarters, worth more than $14,000, their report says. Russell was arrested and charged with felony grand larceny. (RC/Syracuse Post-Standard) ...She tried to run, but she couldn’t.
