Up to the Challenge
Jaylen Norwood posted a video performing his attempt at Drake’s “In My Feelings” challenge “with a twist.” His 15,300 Instagram followers were treated to a video of Norwood popping out of a moving car, dancing for a few seconds on a Boynton Beach, Fla., street — and promptly getting hit by another car. Norwood, 22, says he had a friend drive that car; his plan was to jump on the hood and keep dancing, but he was wearing flip flops and slipped on a wet spot and fell into the path of the oncoming car. He wasn’t seriously injured. The National Transportation Safety Board posted to advise against trying the challenge. “We’re sharing concerns about the #InMyFeelings challenge while driving,” the post said. “#DistractedDriving is dangerous and can be deadly. No call, no text, no update, and certainly no dance challenge is worth a human life.” (MS/Orlando Sentinel, Miami Herald) ...And especially #NotInFlipFlops.Original Publication Date: 05 August 2018
