Utterly Foolish
When a woman tried to buy a $100 gift card at a drug store in Greensboro, N.C., with a $100 bill, the clerk quickly noticed the bill was fake. The bill looked very good, but instead of bearing the signature of the Secretary of the Treasury Jacob Lew, it was signed “Moe Money” — whose title was printed as “Proprietor of the Counterfeiting”. Symone Vannessa Brown, 19, a student at the University of North Carolina Greensboro, has been charged with numerous felonies, including obtaining property under false pretense, uttering a forged security, and possession of counterfeiting tools. Federal charges may also be pending: police found $12,882 in fake bills in her room, and the Secret Service has joined the investigation. (RC/AP) ...Which caused her to utter a few more things.Original Publication Date: 09 February 2014
