Well There’s Yer Problem

A Cleveland, Ohio, resident called the city’s water department after noticing a leak. “It was just water coming out of the ground,” local resident Maria Lakes said. “Twenty minutes later the road just bubbled up.” A department employee was dispatched to the area to find the source of the leak. While he was searching, a sinkhole appeared — right under his parked van. It took two tow trucks about four hours to pull the van out of the hole. According to police, the sinkhole was probably caused by a water main break. (MS/Cleveland Plain Dealer) ...The statement was issued by the department’s spokesperson: Captain Obvious.
