What Goes Up Must Come Down
Firefighters in Santa Rosa, Calif., received a call about a man sitting 70’ up in a redwood tree, drinking beer. When they arrived, neighbors directed rescuers to the top of the tree, but they were unable to spot the man. They then looked in the unnamed man’s yard — and found him on top of a small water tank, where he had apparently fallen. “He was hanging out, from what we were told,” said Fire Capt. Jack Thomas. “He fell in some form or fashion, bounced off of all the limbs all the way down.” Firefighters and paramedics provided medical aid. In the man’s pockets, they found empty, unbroken beer bottles. (MS/Santa Rosa Press-Democrat) ...The bottles were in much better shape than he was.Original Publication Date: 14 August 2016
