What Nightmares Are Made Of

An unidentified 61-year-old woman in Palm Springs, Fla., was trying to find her cats. She reached under her bed to check there, and “felt she had touched human skin,” the resulting police report says. Sure enough, a “suspect was hiding under her bed” and, figuring the woman was looking for him, he jumped up and ran. A neighbor had already called police after being suspicious of the man creeping around the neighborhood, and officers in the area quickly captured the suspect, Christian Vatovec, 25. He is being held on charges of burglary, grand theft, and resisting arrest. (RC/South Florida Sun-Sentinel) ...Now and then, there really is a monster under the bed.
