When You Miss a Friend
A woman driving in Charlotte, N.C., saw someone she knew — and apparently didn’t like: police say she tried to run the pedestrian over. Witnesses say the driver went up on the sidewalk, missed the pedestrian, and then went back into the street, over-corrected, went over the center line, and hit an oncoming car head-on. The offending driver, Ebony Little, 26, was pronounced dead at the scene; the other driver suffered only minor injuries. It was not revealed what Little’s dispute was with the pedestrian. (RC/Charlotte Observer) ...I’m guessing she had criticized Little’s refusal to wear a seat belt.Original Publication Date: 30 October 2016
