A thief at a hotel in Wayne, N.J., “attempted to conceal his identity with a Casper the ghost style bed sheet with holes cut out,” said township police spokesman Capt. Lawrence Martin. The front desk clerk reported cash was missing. Apparently, the sheet was also stolen from the hotel — which led police to check to see if the thief, who was captured on security camera video, was a guest. Sure enough, police say Joseph Elder, 59, who was located in his room, was arrested and jailed.
