Police in Slidell, La., have asked the public for some cooperation after an incident: someone called 911 to complain that a local Taco Bell not only ran out of hard taco shells, they even ran out of plain tortillas that they might have used as a substitute. “While this is truly a travesty,” police posted on their Facebook page, “the police can’t do anything about this.” (RC/WDSU New Orleans) ...And that’s what’s wrong with this country!Original Publication Date: 09 June 2019
