9 to 5 — the Next Generation

An actor at Florida’s non-profit Theatre Tallahassee has lost his starring role in the company’s production of Singin’ in the Rain after he was arrested. Hunter Flora, 22, had a day job as the receptionist at a property management company. The company says Flora accepted rent from customers, but kept about $77,000 rather than deposit it into the company’s bank account. When confronted, Flora said he “stole so much money he was unable to keep track of how much he had stolen,” and couldn’t pay it back because it was already spent. Flora was also an actor at a non-profit community theater in Quincy, Fla., where he recently had the lead in the play, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. He says he’ll “make things right” by getting a job to pay it all back. (RC/Tallahassee Democrat) ...Which he says he can do quickly because he knows how to go from window washer to Chairman of the Board in two weeks.
