Another Griswold Christmas
Police and firefighters were dispatched to a home in Merrimack, N.H., after reports of an explosion with injury. When they arrived, they found a man lying on the ground suffering electrical burns. Investigators determined the unnamed man had been installing Christmas lights in a tree — using a metal pole, which came in contact with a 19,900-volt primary power line. The jolt knocked the man to the ground and damaged several decorations in the house’s front yard. The man was transported to the hospital, and the house was inspected and deemed safe.
