As Stupid Does

Alan McCarty was recorded telling Volusia County, Fla., Sheriff’s Office dispatchers they were “stupid,” and wanted to report a crime “that’s about to happen.” Over four 911 calls, McCarty demanded custody of his children — and said he had a gun trained on the courthouse, and demanded deputies bring a judge out so he could “execute” her. Circuit Court Judge Stasia Warren had previously denied him that custody. McCarty, 35, was himself taken into custody; the charges include a felony for threatening a public servant. (AC/Orlando Sentinel) ...There may be a way for men to get custody of their children, but this isn’t it.
