Batman and Robbin’
“About 10 o’clock this morning, a female wearing a Batman T-shirt came into the Braum’s,” a hamburger and ice cream chain, said Lt. Jeff Spruill of the Oklahoma City Police Department. She was armed with a hammer, and was intent on robbing the place. With the hammer, she smashed the cash register’s computer screen, “and then tried to run away with the cash register before she was able to break it open.” After smashing at least one window, the woman ran with a fist-full of cash from the register, picking up her dog, which had been waiting outside — a pitbull. Her escape was slowed by “a few” fences. “She was actually pushing the dog over the fence and then jumping over the fence behind the dog,” Spruill said, and officers caught up with her quickly. “During that time, her dog was actually running with the officers thinking that this was a very fun game.” Clara Aguirre, 26, was captured, and arrested. The dog’s status was not reported. (RC/KFOR Oklahoma City) ...Ready to go again when you are, Lieutenant.Original Publication Date: 11 June 2017
