Beddy-Bye II
Allison Marie Plusquellic, 36, was out drinking in Lower Burrell, Pa. She already has one drunk-driving conviction, so she didn’t drive home: she decided to walk. She found a house with an open window and tried to climb in, but couldn’t, so she moved on. A mile away she found another house she liked, opened the window, crawled in, and went to bed. It wasn’t her house: the homeowner discovered the open window. “She knew that the window had been closed, so she did the right thing,” said Lower Burrell Police Chief Tim Weitzel. “She left and called police.” Officers found Plusquellic, still asleep, and arrested her for burglary, since she illegally entered an occupied residence. Once she sobered up, Plusquellic claimed, “I must have been sleepwalking.” (RC/Pittsburgh Tribune-Review) ...Sleepwalking, drunk staggering — big difference.Original Publication Date: 28 May 2017
