Monsters!

When a Hawkins County (Tenn.) sheriff’s deputy tried to perform a routine traffic stop, the car sped off rather than pull over. The deputy couldn’t safely pursue the vehicle, but shortly afterward, a police officer in Church Hill spotted the vehicle in town. The car was found parked in a driveway, and the resident was outside: she said a man and a woman had rushed into her house saying “The cops were chasing them,” so she ran outside. Police went in and sure enough, found the couple: Heather Leighanne Caldwell, 26, was hiding in a bed with the covers pulled over her; William Ashely Davis, 33, was hiding between the mattress and box springs. Police also found why they fled: they had various drugs and drug sales paraphernalia, and Davis’s driver’s license had been revoked. They were arrested on various felony and misdemeanor charges. (RC/Kingsport Times News) ...No fair! The rules are, if we can’t see you, you can’t see us!
