Quit Bugging Us

Michael McGuire was asleep in his Cape Coral, Fla., home when his wife woke him up. She’d found the front door open, so McGuire checked the house. He says he found Michael Rogoff, 35, crouched behind his bathroom door. “Tried to slam the door up against him. Told my wife to call 911,” he said. After she called the police, his wife handed him her pistol, which he used to hold Rogoff until police arrived. “He was actually sitting in the tub like he was going to be taking a bath,” McGuire said. When police arrived and arrested Rogoff, officers asked McGuire if he’d recently had pest service. “That’s him!” McGuire remembered. “That’s the guy that does our bugs!” Rogoff had been at their house the previous year to do pest control. McGuire said the pest control company apologized several times, and offered to do whatever it takes to make things right. (MS/WFTX Cape Coral) ...Just make sure they’re rid of one particular pest, and they’ll be good.
