Cool Your Jets

A police officer in Naperville, Ill., was watching for speeders at 2:00 a.m. when he clocked a doozie: a 1994 Honda Prelude going 111 mph in a 45 mph zone. By the time the cop got the car pulled over, he was able to add charges of running a red light and a stop sign. The excuse that driver Zachary P. Ramirez, 21, offered: he was hurrying since he was “trying to go have sex with a girl he liked,” the resulting police report noted. Ramirez didn’t make it to his assignation: he was instead charged with speeding 40 mph or more over the limit, reckless driving, running the red light and stop sign, and possession of marijuana. (RC/Chicago Sun-Times) ...Where’s the fire? In his pants.
