Cotton On Yet?

According to a police report, when Dasha Fincher was asked about the “plastic bag filled with a blue crystal like substance in the passenger side floorboard” of the car she was riding in, she told the officer it was cotton candy. A roadside test showed it was methamphetamine, and Fincher was arrested. After she’d spent about three months in jail pending trial, Georgia Bureau of Investigation tests confirmed there was nothing illicit in the bag. Then, after about another month, the charges were dropped. Now Fincher is suing the Monroe County commissioners; Sirchie Acquisitions, which made the roadside test; and a couple of deputies. The suit says the deputies should have known that roadside tests produce false positives — and that something carried so openly was unlikely to be meth. (AC/WMAZ, Atlanta Journal Constitution) ...If you meth take cotton candy for drugs, you may face sweet justice.
