Desperate for a Fix II

It all started when Daniel Ferreira, 31, allegedly hijacked a bus in Toronto, Ont. “A man boarded the bus and he produced a large knife to the driver causing the other passengers to flee,” Const. Jenifferjit Sidhu said. “He also made the driver run red lights.” The man exited the bus after it arrived at a Tim Hortons donut shop. When officers arrived, they found the man still inside, sitting at a table sipping coffee. “Officers directed customers out of store and the man was ordered to get down on the ground,” Const. Laura Nicolle said. Ferreira is facing charges of assault with a weapon, mischief endangering life, forcible confinement, uttering threats, and taking a motor vehicle without consent. The driver was shaken but not physically hurt. “The [Toronto Transit Commission] has counseling programs for its staff and will offer whatever assistance the employee needs,” a spokesman said. (MS/Toronto Sun) ...As long as the counseling sessions aren’t at a Timmy’s, OK.
