Police in (yep) Pottstown, Pa., were dispatched to a hotel in town for a welfare check: a woman, her family said, was a heavy drug user and could be harming herself. Sure enough, when officers got to her room she opened the door with a syringe in her hand, and a pill bottle hanging out of her bra. Between the pill bottle and the bed they found 67 bags of heroin packaged for sale, drug paraphernalia, and cash that investigators said was “consistent with street level drug sales.” Sara High, 28, was arrested and jailed.
