Effing Mercedeses
Evon Stephens allegedly thought other people were using Mercedes cars as places to ...ahem... have a good time. So, according to a federal criminal complaint, he let himself into one and lit it on fire. The blaze, at one of the largest garages in New York City, took out not just one but 135 cars — mostly that same brand, stored by a Mercedes dealership. The fire injured 18 firefighters, and temporarily shut down the adjoining King’s Plaza shopping mall. Prosecutors say Stephens, 23, confessed.
