Fowl Play
A woman at the Social Security Administration Office in Fairfax County, Va., was yelling at employees, and a security guard approached her to quiet things down. Police say Laurie Weaver, 56, of New York, assaulted the guard, hitting him on the head with a fanny pack. When responding officers looked inside the pack, they found a pigeon — a live one, which was apparently uninjured in the assault. Weaver was arrested, and the pigeon, reports say, “will be returned to the wild once the investigation is done.” (RC/WDCW Washington D.C.) ...Why, are they still planning to question it?Original Publication Date: 30 September 2018
