A survey conducted by Jetcost finds 54 percent of respondents say a pilot’s accent affected their confidence in his or her ability. Texas accents inspired the least amount of confidence, followed by New York and then general American accents. Upper Midwestern accents brought the most confidence for passengers, followed by Southern California, Great Lakes, and British.
