Get Off My Lawn, Punks!
“Nothing stops people,” complains Bryan Tucker of Sandston, Va. “They don’t respect other peoples’ land.” The “they” he was complaining about were school children who wait near his home for the school bus. He tried “No Trespassing” signs, but says that didn’t help, so he installed an electric fence to keep the kids out of his yard. That brought press coverage, and Tucker has now taken the fence down. Not because of concerns the kids could get hurt by shocks, but rather because Henrico County informed Tucker that the fence was not on his property, but rather on county property, and he was told to.
