Escape Video

“This is how you take an ankle bracelet off without breaking the circuit.” The video shows a man using a butter knife and a utility tool to remove his own ankle monitor. It was posted in July to a Facebook profile under the name of Dustin Burns; the same account features a video, posted in August, of a man who looks like Burns experiencing a “dream come true” — visiting a farm where, it seems, they grow marijuana. The Facebook user also mentions trips to Oregon, Idaho, and Utah. Dustin Burns, 33, of Springfield, Mo., who was on probation for violating a restraining order, has been charged with tampering with an electronic monitor. His probation was revoked and he’s in jail. (AC/Springfield News Leader) ...He won’t break out of jail. He won’t have a camera there.
