Family Accident

A husband and wife were sleeping in their North Las Vegas, Nevada, home when they thought they heard an intruder. They each grabbed their guns and together fired 27 shots, police say. There was no intruder: it was a relative who also lived with them, coming home when she wasn’t expected, a police spokesman said. The relative was injured, but not fatally. The shooting wife is a Las Vegas Metro Police officer, and the shooting husband also works for the department. North Las Vegas police are investigating, but don’t expect to file charges, the spokesman said. For its part, the Metro Police say they see no policy violations to support an investigation. (AC/Las Vegas Review-Journal, Las Vegas Sun, KTNV Las Vegas, KLAS Las Vegas) ...I guess there’s no police policy against shooting innocent people.
