The Prince and the Peashooter

After a traffic stop in Fort Pierce, Fla., police noticed “furtive movements and nervous appearance” of the passengers, and ordered everyone out of the car. As one passenger got out of the back seat, officers noticed he had been sitting on a .380 caliber pistol. Michael Williams, 22, “stated that [he] had no knowledge there was a handgun beneath him,” the resulting police report notes. Another rear-seat passenger was found to have a 9mm pistol at his feet. Lennox Baker, 21, also said he had no idea whose gun that was. A pink-and-black revolver was found between the driver’s seat and the center console; driver Gary Robinson, 28, did claim ownership of that one. Another passenger in the front seat was not found to have any weapons. (RC/Port St. Lucie News) ...But you can bet he’ll rectify that oversight immediately.
