Fra Diavolo
There was Ragu on the stove, and a washcloth near it. “He was trying to make it look like I left the stove on,” said the unnamed victim of what authorities are calling a burglary and arson, “but who gets up 2:00 a.m. and fixes sketti?” He’d left home at 2:00, but his home security system pinged him at work to let him know a camera had been covered with a towel, and he called 911. The Volusia County, Fla., Sheriff’s Office said both the men accused in the case had dated the victim, but the victim says he only dated one: Derrick Irving — who, he said, wore a bull costume. The suspects are accused of taking a TV and an air conditioner, but the victim is puzzled by Irving’s motives. He’d considered his ex a friend. “Maybe he’s angry because I paid his car insurance. Maybe he’s angry because I paid his cellphone bill. What’s he angry about?” (AC/WKMG Orlando, WESH Orlando) ...If not the bills, perhaps some bull.Original Publication Date: 01 April 2018
