Ann Elmore, 49, of Manteno, Ill., was arrested and charged with three counts of felony theft after allegedly embezzling about $102,000 from St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, where she had worked for 6 years. “This very complicated financial investigation,” a police statement said, “continues to determine where these funds are, what they may have been expended on and if Ms. Elmore had any assistance.” Elmore is being held on $250,000 bond.
