Going Down

A man followed a woman onto an elevator at an office building in Chicago, Ill., and, when the doors closed, pushed her against the wall and put his hand under her clothes to grope her. She managed to hit the Emergency button on the panel, and the man fled when the doors opened. A suspect was quickly caught. In addition to the victim and a witness identifying Robert Skipper, 29, as the perpetrator, when the woman was brought in to identify Skipper in a lineup, before she could say anything, he did. “That’s her!” he exclaimed — and his statement was caught by the bodycams of officers in the room. “That’s the one I got! I stalk my prey.” The judge in the case denied Skipper bail, and he is being held on felony counts of criminal sexual abuse, attempted criminal sexual assault, and unlawful restraint. (RC/Chicago Sun Times) ...Though it’s unclear they’ll be able to prove he has much restraint.
