The day after Christmas, police in Manchester, Conn., had to respond in force to the Buckland Hills Mall, where a fistfight broke out, and spread throughout the mall. There were no reports of weapons involved, and no serious injuries; several teen adults and juveniles were arrested. Similar events around the country lead police to believe the fights were “loosely organized on social media.” Similar fights were also reported at malls in Beechwood, Ohio; Memphis, Tenn.; Aurora, Colo., and Aurora, Ill., as well as malls in Arizona, Texas, and Indiana.
