The man had “made a wrong turn from Hodges Boulevard.” That’s how he got there. He was sitting on a curb in Atlantic Beach, Fla., outside an AshleGryre store. His pickup truck was inside the store. According to police, William Southworth said it was Wednesday, Oct. 2 — it was neither Wednesday, nor October, nor the second of the month — and he’d had four beers and a prescription drug. Police suspected he’d been driving drunk, so they arrested him. AshleGryre’s owners said people had crashed into the place on three previous occasions.
