Revolving Door Set to “High”
A patrolling police officer in Wyandotte, Mich., pulled over a car for an equipment violation. “I just did six months for the last time you got me,” driver Gerald Rashad Grant, 40, told the officer. Grant also admitted his driver’s license was suspended. Indeed it is: continuously since 1999, and it was suspended at least 379 more times since then, 340 of which are still current. He also had 45 warrants out for his arrest. Grant was jailed, but the judge allowed him to post 10 percent of the $15,000 bail he imposed to get out.
