Hard for Whom?
Police say Andre Young entered a gas station in Forest Park, Ohio, took out a box cutter, and said to the clerk: “We can do this the easy way or the hard way.” The clerk did not make it easy. Young, 52, allegedly attempted to jump the counter, but was defeated with a shove by the man behind it, who then came around and knocked out the not-so-young Young with a single punch to the face. Police say Young, who apparently has served prison time for robbing the same store before, offered his defense: the box cutter was for getting “something” off his shirt, and as for trying to get over the counter with it, “Man, I was drunk.” The judge had no sympathy for his beating injuries, and ordered Young held on a high cash bail.
