He Was Probably More Comfortable than the Passengers
Baggage handlers at North Carolina’s Charlotte-Douglas International Airport noticed one of their co-workers was missing, and figured out he was probably accidentally locked inside a passenger jet’s cargo area, on the way to Washington D.C.’s Dulles airport. When the United-flagged plane, operated by Mesa Airlines, arrived at its gate 90 minutes later, emergency responders were waiting, and sure enough, Reginald Gaskin, 45, was inside — and unharmed. When reached by a reporter, Gaskin said he was advised by an attorney not to comment, but did say, “I thank God. He was with me.” (RC/Washington Post) ...But He was supposed to be the co-pilot!Original Publication Date: 22 January 2017
