Hero License

When there was flooding in Louisiana, people got in their boats and rescued others. They earned the name “the Cajun Navy.” Now, state Sen. Jonathan Perry wants them to get licenses so law enforcement will let them rescue people. “John Perry is a Republican, right?” Scott McKay said. “It’s like, ‘Hey, you ran on small government. Now you want to regulate the Cajun Navy.’ What are you doing?” Perry says he actually wants to protect the volunteers from interference. (AC/WWL New Orleans) ...Because nothing says “the government will not interfere” like licensing.
