Is It Dusty in Here?

Patrol officers in Nashville, Tenn., spotted a man apparently preparing marijuana to smoke. When the officers approached Antonio Freeman, 20, he “attempted to hide a blunt he’d been rolling,” they wrote in the resulting arrest report. Freeman put everything in his pocket, and pulled out a clear plastic bag. He crushed the bag and sprinkled the contents over one officer’s head and into the air. Police were able to salvage about 2 1/2 grams of the powder — which they say tested as cocaine. Freeman was charged with drug possession, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, and tampering with evidence.
