A police officer noticed the lights on at a social club in Bradford-on-Avon, Wiltshire, England, and decided to investigate. He found a group of ladies holding a 50th birthday party and, when they saw him, “there were loud cheers and someone shouted, ‘Oh, are you the stripogram?’,” officer Mike Ober said. The copper “had to beat a hasty retreat,” but said he was flattered by the mistake. He added that as he left, he passed the real stripper heading in.
